Dots add mobile setup, Codex delegation, and task editing
Eligible users can create a dot in the ChatGPT mobile app, have it start or continue Codex work using existing conversation context, and ask it to review or edit scheduled ChatGPT Work tasks.

Material expansion of the September 29 dots launch. Date uses the October 9 weekly update endpoint for OpenAI's October 5–9 recap; the source does not specify individual release days. Mobile setup supports iOS and Android in updated apps, with an option to open directly to the dot conversation. Codex delegation can use ChatGPT chats, Codex threads, and automations as context. Existing gradual rollout, eligible plan and region limits, workspace controls, connected-app permissions, and optional local-computer access still apply; this does not establish universal access.
