WHAT CHANGED IN CHATGPT.
ABOUT THE PUBLICATION

A clear record of a changing product.

The Transformer Times helps you understand what is new, expanded, revised, or removed in ChatGPT.

Our focus

We cover meaningful developments for people who use, teach, buy, administer, or follow ChatGPT. That includes features, models, plans, rollouts, removals, and organizational controls.

Company, legal, and regulatory news belongs here when it directly changes ChatGPT access or operation. API-only releases and routine promotional posts do not.

Evidence first

Every Ledger entry links to an official OpenAI source. We review release notes alongside product announcements, Help Center documentation, and relevant Business, Enterprise, Edu, Global Affairs, and security updates.

Third-party reporting can point us toward a possible change. It cannot substitute for first-party verification in the Ledger.

Dates and availability

Entry dates identify a release or announcement. “Rolling out” means access may arrive gradually. “Planned” describes a future development, not a feature already available to everyone.

What we can claim

This is a verified selection of meaningful developments, beginning in September 2026. It is not a claim that every change has been captured. Monitoring results depend on what OpenAI publishes and which sources can be reached.

The record and the reporting

The Ledger holds five fields: Date, Title, Summary, Verification URL, and Notes. The homepage presents that same information editorially. Daily reviews can find no qualifying news; we do not manufacture an update.
