Enterprise and Edu add role-based plugin access controls
Workspace owners and admins can now control plugin access by role in ChatGPT Enterprise and Edu workspaces that have role-based access control enabled.
Rollout & details
Admins can set the workspace default for each plugin to Available, Install, or Disabled, while custom roles can inherit the default or use their own setting. Required-app permissions, approval rules, action settings, and provider authorization continue to apply. This extends the October 1 Admin-console plugin-management release with role-level controls and explicit Edu availability.
