GPT-6 brings Intelligent UI to regular ChatGPT conversations
ChatGPT is rolling out GPT-6 in the Chat tab, with answers that combine text, visuals, and interactive tools and can begin appearing while the model continues thinking.

Global rollout began October 7 for Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise, with Free and Go expansion announced to start October 8. Paid tiers use GPT-6 Sol; Free and Go are announced to use GPT-6 Luna. Access is gradual and subject to workspace permissions and supported updated clients. Intelligent UI supports Instant through Extra High where the plan permits; Pro effort uses Astra and does not support Intelligent UI. It is unavailable in Work and Voice; this release does not change Work or Codex models. Older desktop apps do not support the new UI. Current model guidance still contains GPT-5.6 Luna references for Free/Go, so the announced October 8 expansion is not treated as independently confirmed universal availability.
