ChatGPT for Word becomes enabled by default in managed workspaces
OpenAI lists October 1 as the start of default access to ChatGPT for Word in Business, Enterprise, and Edu workspaces.

Material access development following the September 17 Word launch. Workspace administrators can still disable Word access, and Microsoft 365 administrators must allow the add-in. Date is the documented effective date; default enablement does not guarantee access for every member.
